Client Terms and Conditions

Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited acts as agents on behalf of the tutor (Tutor) and will introduce the Tutor to the client (Client).
Fees and Payment
The billing process will be under the control of Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited who shall send an invoice to the Client on behalf of the tutor after each lesson.
Payments must be made to Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited within 14 days of the invoice.
The fees will be calculated based upon the shared calendar between the Tutor and Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited. We ask that the Client checks each lesson listed on the invoice against their own records prior to payment and raises any discrepancies promptly.
Payments must not be made directly to the Tutor at any time.
Expenses
All expenses (including books and travel) must be agreed with the Tutor in advance.
Non-solicitation
The Client is not permitted to make private arrangements for tuition with a Tutor introduced by Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited. Should a Client breach this obligation, they will liable to account to Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited. For all sums paid to the Tutor without deduction and Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited shall be entitled to obtain an injunction against the Client to prevent further breaches. His obligation shall continue notwithstanding termination of this agreement.
Liability
We have no liability in respect of any arrangement you may choose to enter at your discretion with a Tutor. Our liability to you under the Contract is limited to the fees that you pay to us in respect of those services, although we do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or for any other liability that cannot be legally excluded or limited. We will not be liable for any failure to provide services where we are prevented from doing so by an event outside of our reasonable control.
Cancellation Policy
If the Client wants to cancel a lesson, they must do so no less than 24 hours in advance through Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited. Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged at their normal rate.
Cancellations for in person lessons with Lydia are treated as follows:
Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice: a 50% lesson fee will be charged. If we manage to fill the slot with an ad hoc additional lesson for another student, we will waive the cancellation fee.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: the full lesson fee will be charged.
General
Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions. Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited will, however, notify the Client in writing of any changes.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing by a Director of Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited these terms and conditions shall prevail over any other terms of business or conditions put forward by the client.
No variation or alteration of these terms and conditions shall be valid unless approved in writing by a Director of Cambridge Maths Tuition Limited.
